CNC machining has higher and higher requirements for precision and surface processing quality. In order to ensure product processing quality, we consider the selection of machine tools, tool holders, tool selection, processing plans, program generation, operator requirements, etc.
We usually focus on:
1. Select high-precision high-speed machining centers. With the improvement of product design requirements and the increasingly mature development of high-speed and high-precision machining technology, the quality of mold CNC machining and the speed of mold machining have been greatly improved, the processing procedures have been reduced, the production cycle and clamping times of the mold have been shortened, and sometimes time-consuming benchwork repair work can be eliminated.
2. Use a suitable tool holder structure. The use of high-speed and high-precision machining centers will also drive the update of related process equipment. In particular, the impact of tools on CNC machining quality and tool holders will become prominent. In the rotary tool processing system, the connection between the chuck and the machine tool (or its combination) is tight to ensure the realization of tool processing performance.
3. Select the appropriate tool for processing. The reasonable use and selection of tools will be an important factor affecting the quality of CNC machining. Carbide tools are being used more and more widely. In high-speed machining, coated carbide will replace most of the sharp steel tools, including reamers, ball-end tools, boring tools and other simple tools. Coated carbide will play an important role in high-speed machining tool materials and will be applied to most conventional machining fields.
